400 years ago a great man shuffled loose this mortal coil.

Before the Bard departed for the undiscovered country he left us with some of the greatest plays, characters and poetry the English language has ever known. And we're doing it all.

You know Romeo, but do you know Corilanus? You know Hamlet, but do you know King John?

This year we, The Gallery Players, The Rogue and Peasant Players and South Brooklyn Shakespeare are banding together to bring you every blessed word, through a series of impromptu coffee house style readings. First up? The Histories!

So come out and get a (semi-accurate) English history lesson April 1-3!

The best part? Tickets are free!

Actually that's a lie. Here's the best part: Have you been reading this and thinking "Man, that sounds cool, I wish I could be involved"

Well...YOU CAN! Come on out and you can volunteer to join us on stage! Are you an old Shakespeare pro looking to honor the man who's influenced your life? Great! Have you never touched a word of Shakespeare in your life but you've always wanted to? GREAT!
